Why do I have moisture on the glass of my new vinyl windows? Is there something wrong with the window?
As long as you can touch the moisture on the glass, No there is nothing wrong with your window. This is simply condensation. This problem is very normal especially in new homes where the building materials are still moist or in an older home where there is a lot of moisture being put into the air via cooking, showering, etc..

Condensation is caused when there is too much moisture in the air and there are extreme temperature differences between the outside air and the inside air. The moisture condenses when the warm, moist air comes in contact with the cooler surface, such as windows or patio door glass. Cooler air surrounding these cooler surfaces cant hold as much moisture as the warmer air and water will form. If the cooler surface is below freezing, then the condensation appears as frost.

Vinyl windows will definitely reduce condensation but not necessarily eliminate it. Condensation will be determined on the amount of moisture in the air of your home.

Why do I have moisture in between the panes of glass?
If you have visible moisture or staining that you cannot touch this means the seal on the glass has failed. We can replace just the glass with out replacing the entire window. Please call for a free estimate.

Can you do custom sizes and shapes?
